“ Great spot, awesome burger. Lisa and Rafe were awesome folks. Definitely plan to be back through ”
“ Really a cool place you wouldn't expect it there. Very friendly staff. Had all kinds of games to play if you wanted. Wish is was closer but worth the ride!!! ”
“ A hidden treasure in Hillrose, CO. Rebecca is such a sweetheart and very welcoming. Their food is off the chain and a must have if you're ever in the area. I had a Hakuna Matata drink and it was delicious and just right in amount of alcohol. Prices are great, besides you get world class treatment, so it's worth every penny. ”
“ The deep-fried mushrooms are to die for!!! The burgers are done to perfection! The staff there treats everyone like family! Reminds me a great deal of Jambalayas! ”
“ Well I'll tell you I love coming out here. We drove in from the Denver area. We left Sunday after church, jumped on the bikes and rolled out. Had a great time. You got to love a town that Main Street is a dirt road. If you don't like small towns just use my favorite word... N-E-X-T. The burgers were good and on a brioche bun. The atmosphere was great and I love the owner and their story behind it. If you're bringing a big group down please, please, please give them a call in advance so they can staff up for you. For us it would be a local jump on the bike with a group and come down after church on Sunday. It is a bar and a traditional grill. I had their Hillrose Burger and a salad. I would probably have the meat slightly closer to medium. The fries are off the hook. Then go to the back area because there's all sorts of recreational activity from foosball to bag toss and it's just awesome. It's a nice getaway in a real quant environment off the beaten path. We're definitely going to get a group together and yes will call in advance to let him know we're coming out with how many and how long it takes to get there. Is it five star place? no it's not and I'm thankful for that because there's too many silly things go on with 5 star. It's just nice to have a country place with country folks in a country environment in a country pace. So if you're looking for a place to go hang out for a little bit then go do it. Remember now they're closed on Tuesday because Mondays everybody else in the area is closed; so folks come down to this place to eat because their local townsmen are closed on a Monday. Tip of the hat to all the folks there and to yourselves as well. Blessings to all... ”
“ I don't like to go out and eat frequently. I don't like the tipping culture in the US. But I love the atmosphere of the place, the food is reasonably priced and I get better service here when they are jam-packed than when I will go to most other restaurants and it's not busy. The food also tastes quite delicious. All in all, I've actually frequently requested business cards from them just so that I can tell my friends about the place. ”
